Some people don’t know how to take care of their body. Their organs may malfunction or even completely stop functioning. Western doctors may recommend organ transplants. How can organ transplants affect the sick people, organ donors, and the society? The results are much worse than you think. Many people believe that wealth can buy health. But the following real-life stories suggest otherwise:
- I got my public education in China over 30 years ago, during a time when everybody was poor and the majority of people experienced starvation. In my fifteen years of schooling, there were only a few class cancellations that were due to teachers’ sickness. Now my son is in school in Boston. His class cancellations in one week are more than that in my fifteen years of schooling in China! The U.S. is one of the richest countries and spends the most money on their health in the world, but its citizens have the worst health conditions in the Western world. Over 80% of Americans have health issues, such as fatigue, digestive issues, sleep disorders, weight problems, and emotional troubles. On average, Americans catch a cold three times a year!
- Many rich and famous people, such as Steve Jobs, have tons of money but can’t buy their health. Like many other westerners, Steve Jobs relied on medical professionals and others for his own health and his cancer. Illnesses develop because of a lack of knowledge and understanding of what a person’s body needs in order to thrive. Most of the times, it is the wrong beliefs, inappropriate habits, and the modern lifestyle that harm the body and cause health problems. A hectic business and social schedule, unhealthy emotions, and excessive mental labor that Steve had hurt his body. He thought fruit was good for health and drank more fruit juice after he had been diagnosed with pancreas cancer. He never realized that the fruit juice could make his cancer worse and hurt his already very sickly body. No matter how much money he spent on acupuncture and other medical treatments, none of these can save him without considering and meeting his own bodily needs.
- There is a historical Chinese story about a beggar: Homeless beggars typically do not look well because of starvation. One beggar was different. He even looked better than many settled did. People asked him why the difference. He said he “drank a lot of the northwest wind”, which means he breathed in a lot more air than the others. The air, as well as the sun and earth, can provide enormous energy to the body. Many energy cultivators can eat less but get much more energy from nature and enjoy a long life. The beggar knew the ways to absorb more energy from nature and didn’t suffer from hunger and health problems.

Menopause is the time in women’s lives when menstrual periods stop permanently and they are no longer able to bear children. Menopause occurs 12 months after the last menstrual period and typically between 49 and 52 years of age. Menopause occurring before 45 years old usually indicates there is a health issue(s), diagnosable or un-diagnosable by Western medicine. Normal periods may reoccur after health problems are cured before the age of 48. Continue reading “10 Ways to Care for Your Menopause”
- Waiting until your golden years to start taking care of yourself.
Many people let themselves become overwhelmed by daily activities and never learn how to properly take care of their body. Taking good care of the body should begin when we are infants, or better yet before our mothers even get pregnant. When a couple is well prepared and their bodies are well nourished before and during pregnancy, their newborn infant will be healthy and strong. The earlier we start taking care of our bodies, the less our bodies become ill, the less life energy our bodies waste fighting illnesses, and the longer our bodies live. Many types of cancers and chronic illnesses, such as liver cancer, lung cancer, tumors, diabetes, and strokes, are collectively classified as manifestations of genetic abnormalities by Western medicine.
Actually, an illness is the inevitable result of abusing or misusing the body. An illness is one of the body’s indicators that a problem exists and implies something in our routine must be changed in order to prevent deteriorating of the illness and to begin the healing process. The human body generates waste from its normal routine functions, such as breathing in air and digesting food.
Just as most matter in nature exists in three states, body waste can be classified into three different types: solid, liquid, and gas. For example, gallstones and stools are solid waste, mucus and urine are liquid waste, and air from exhaling and a bloated stomach are gaseous waste.
The lungs, liver, kidneys, and other organs naturally detoxify the body. But if any waste remains inside the body, discomfort and illness may occur. Solid and liquid waste are easier to detect with modern medical equipment, but the gaseous waste trapped inside the body is not.
