- 1 cup warm milk or kefir
- 2 medium eggs
- ¼ cup starter dough
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter, melted

let the dough rise until doubled, 2-3 hours. - Heat a lightly oiled griddle or pan over
medium heat. Drop 1/4-cup batter onto the griddle or into the pan and cook
until bubbles form and the edges are dry,
about 2 to 3 minutes. Flip and cook until browned on the other side, about 1 to
2 minutes. Repeat with remaining batter. - Serve warm with honey.
If using active dry yeast instead of starter dough, mix the yeast with warm milk and let stand for 5 minutes before mixing together with other ingredients. Use an extra ¼ cup of flour.
