The Hidden Deficiency in Modern Food

Beyond Nutrients: What’s Missing from Modern Food

Modern food is engineered for taste, convenience, and shelf life—but often at the expense of something far more important: life energy in food. Even foods marketed as nutritious and “healthy” can be energetically depleted through processing, refinement, and misguided food choices that don’t align with the body’s energetic needs.

How Modern Methods Drain Life from Food

Food production techniques that make food more “efficient” also tend to strip it of natural energy:

  • Pasteurization and sterilization, while useful for extending shelf life, also destroy vital energies, enzymes, and other beneficial compounds in foods like milk.
  • Even high-nutrient foods and supplements may paradoxically drain life energy, especially if the body is too weak to process them or they’re consumed in a form that’s unnatural or energetically incompatible.

The Ancient Concept of Life Energy

Life energy in food—a concept deeply rooted in ancient traditions—refers to the natural vitality found in fresh, living foods. This energy is best preserved in foods grown with intention: through traditional farming practices like crop rotation, organic composting, and soil restoration. In contrast, modern monoculture farming strips the soil of nutrients, producing crops that are energetically weak. As one doctor noted on the radio, “Today, you’d need to eat seven peaches to get the nutrition of just one from the past.”

The Hidden Cost of Packaged Foods

High processing and packaging further compromise the life energy in food by artificial preservatives, additives, and flavorings. These synthetic compounds may improve shelf life or taste, but they rob food of its natural energy and can introduce subtle toxins into the body.

Choosing Foods that Radiate Life

To nourish yourself on a deeper level, focus on foods that are:

  • Fresh and seasonal
  • Locally grown
  • Cooked shortly before eating
  • Raised or grown using traditional, natural methods

Examples include:

  • Steamed or boiled grains and beans
  • Local, just-picked vegetables
  • Pasture-raised meats cut and prepared the same day
  • Foods cooked slowly and intentionally

These foods don’t just feed the body—they restore energy, calm the mind, and uplift the spirit.

Food for Body, Mind, and Spirit

But the impact of life energy doesn’t stop at the physical level. Foods rich in life energy also support emotional balance and mental clarity. A nourished, resilient body is the foundation for a calm, clear mind and an uplifted spirit. Eating with life energy in mind doesn’t just sustain us—it revitalizes us, improves our mood, and helps us live in greater harmony, both within ourselves and with the world around us.

Conclusion: Reclaim Your Vitality through Food

Today’s nutrition trends often miss the most essential ingredient: life energy in food. By shifting from food that merely looks healthy to food that feels alive, you support deep, lasting health.

The Life Energy Diet guides you toward this path—where food is more than nutrients, it’s living nourishment for your entire being.

When “Healthy” Diets Do More Harm Than Good

In the past few decades, countless “healthy” diets have taken the world by storm—low-fat, low-carb, keto, Mediterranean, plant-based, and more. They promise weight loss, longevity, and freedom from chronic disease. But despite these claims, we’re seeing more obesity, digestive issues, autoimmune disorders, and chronic fatigue than ever before. Is it possible that many of these trendy “healthy” diets are actually doing more harm than good?

A common problem is that many of these diets are overly restrictive—cutting out entire food groups, encouraging calorie counting, and placing blind trust in so-called superfoods or supplements. But food isn’t just about nutrients—it’s about life energy. A low-fat diet, for instance, may deprive the body of essential life energy needed to support the heart, brain, skin, spine, and other vital organs. Extreme calorie restriction can weaken metabolism and drain energy, leaving people fatigued, emotionally depleted, and vulnerable to rebound weight gain.

Moreover, these diets rarely address the root cause of health problems: weakened internal systems like the liver, kidney, spleen, pancreas, stomach, and intestines. Over- or underweight is not just a matter of calorie balance—it’s a symptom of deeper organ-level imbalance. Without strengthening the digestive and metabolic systems, no amount of “clean eating” can restore vitality. Even though some claim to address the root causes, the truth is—they either have no real understanding or end up chasing entirely the wrong ones.

Take for example a woman who followed the Mediterranean Diet for about a decade in hopes of preventing cancer. Living in New England’s cold climate, the diet—rich in cold, raw foods—didn’t suit her body. Over time, her blood levels dropped dangerously, she was hospitalized, and even declared dying by doctors. Her family said their goodbyes at her bedside. But once she was removed from the diet and allowed to recover, she miraculously regained consciousness. What went wrong? The trendy diet ignored her body’s real needs and energy condition.

That story isn’t rare. Many modern diets ignore crucial factors: age, environment, energy levels, body constitution, and the interaction among organs. They apply a “one-size-fits-all” solution to deeply individual problems, even though they may claim otherwise. Even popular diets like keto, paleo, or Mediterranean can be harmful if they weaken your body’s energy systems.

Worse yet, these diets often promote a toxic mindset—labeling foods as “good” or “bad,” causing people to obsess over food and disconnect from what their body truly needs. Instead of nurturing the body, they create guilt, confusion, and stress.

If your health hasn’t improved—or has even declined—despite “eating healthy,” you’re not alone. It’s time to shift from chasing trends to reconnecting with time-tested principles of nourishment. The Life Energy Diet introduced in the book Total Life Energy Plan focuses not on food categories or calorie numbers, but on supporting and rebuilding your weakened systems to restore natural balance and vitality.

Practice for Longevity: The Qigong & Life Guide

🌿 Longevity Qigong Practice Guide

Your path to lasting health, energy, and inner peace

Welcome! This guide is here to support your personal Longevity Qigong practice after training. By following these simple yet powerful principles, you’ll set yourself up for the best possible results—physically, energetically, and holistically.

🧘‍♂️ 1. What to Wear

Choose loose, comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement. No restrictive gear or tight outfits—let your body move and breathe naturally.

🏡 2. Choose the Right Space

Practice in a quiet place with fresh air and no distractions. Indoors or outdoors is fine, as long as the environment supports calmness and focus.

🌧️ 3. Weather Matters

Avoid practicing in cold, windy, rainy, foggy, or stormy weather, and avoid practice during loud thunderstorms indoors.
Also, avoid cold exposure in all forms:

  • Cold food and drinks
  • Cold showers
  • Cold air/drafts

Coldness drains your life energy and should be avoided unless absolutely necessary (e.g. high fever, heavy bleeding).

⏰ 4. Best Times to Practice

Practice when your body is not exhausted and at least one hour after eating.
Evenings are ideal, but any quiet time that fits your schedule is fine.
After Steelman Qigong is an especially effective time—Steelman circulates energy, Longevity gathers and conserves it.

🌀 5. How to Move

Move slowly, smoothly, and naturally.
Go at your own pace—younger bodies may go slow, older bodies may go even slower.
Aim for about 30 minutes per session.

🌬️ 6. Breathe Naturally

Let your breath flow without control.
Avoid manipulating or watching the breath—this overuses your energy.
Controlled breathing is for fighting and short-term recovery, not for a long, healthy life.

🔄 7. Follow the Sequence

Always follow the energetic order:
Build yang → then pack yin.
If short on time, practice fewer movements—but keep the sequence.

⚖️ 8. Adjust Based on Your Condition

  • Feeling overactive? Focus on the last 4 movements.
  • Feeling tired? Practice just the last few, or even just the final one.
  • Ideally, practice all 8 exercises once or more per day for about 30 minutes.

😊 9. Practice with a Relaxed Mind

Let the mind rest.
No need to count repetitions or think.
Let the body move without effort, without mental control.
The less mind involved, the more the body returns to its natural, efficient state—calm, full of life energy, and able to heal.

🚀 The Next Step: 3 Things to Do for a Long, Healthy Life

1. Practice Longevity Qigong Every Day

Consistency is the key to long life and illness-free living. No matter how simple the movement, daily practice will transform your health over time.

2. Learn Steelman Qigong

Longevity Qigong is for energy gathering—it uses the least amount of your body’s resources while preserving your vital energy.
Steelman Qigong focuses on energy flow and circulation using your inner strength to nourish the body.

Together, they form a complete health system:

  • One gathers energy
  • The other distributes it effectively

Without circulation, energy can’t nourish the whole body. And without energy, circulation has nothing to deliver.
Mr. Zhang practiced Steelman to recover from illness and maintained both forms daily for long-term health.
You should too—especially when dealing with symptoms or aiming for longevity.

3. Care for Your Body in All Aspects of Life

Exercise alone is not enough.
Your food, habits, mental state, and daily actions affect your health just as much.

If you’re constantly harming your body through poor food choices, unhealthy routines, or harmful mindsets, even the best Qigong practice won’t save your health.

Modern health trends and commercial products have misled many people, especially in the U.S.
You don’t need special supplements, diets, or health gadgets.
In fact, the more commercial products you consume, the more harm you may cause.
Our ancestors lived long, healthy lives without any of these.

So what’s the best medicine?
Food and your body’s own healing power.

To support your journey, I recommend my book:
The Total Life Energy Plan: How to Cultivate Life Energy for Long-Term Health and Vitality.
It teaches you how to build your own self-healing system through food, lifestyle, energy awareness, and more—tailored to your strengths, weaknesses, and health conditions.

The deeper you understand the book, the better you’ll understand human nature—and how to truly take care of yourself for life.

How Popular Exercises Can Diminish Our Life Energy

In our pursuit of health and wellness through movement, we often gravitate toward popular exercise programs such as yoga, aerobics, Pilates, Zumba, strength training, stretching, treadmills, and running, all of which promise transformative results. From cardiovascular workouts to muscle building, these trends captivate us with claims of weight loss, improved vitality, and overall well-being. However, beneath the surface, some of these approaches may unintentionally deplete our life energy—the vital force that sustains our physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Let’s explore how this can happen and what alternatives we can consider.

The Appeal of Popular Exercise Programs

Popular dietary, exercise, and wellness programs attract us with promises of quick fixes and visible results. Whether it’s shedding pounds rapidly or achieving a heightened sense of wellness through intensive training and lifestyle adjustments, many embark on these paths with hopeful expectations.

The Impact on Life Energy

  1. Energetic Depletion: Extreme exercises, such as intense sports or rapid weight loss programs, place significant strain on the body, depleting its energy reserves. This leaves us feeling drained and lacking vitality, which can ultimately shorten our lifespan. The heart requires substantial energy to circulate blood throughout the body, and intensive exercise demands even more circulation, leading to excessive sweating. Sweat places additional strain on the heart, as it controls both circulation and sweating. This is why many athletes—especially those in sports like football and basketball, which put tremendous pressure on the heart—suffer sudden heart failures on the field or right after practice. Exercises like running, aerobics, and cardiovascular workouts do not build life energy; rather, they deplete it, overusing the body’s energy reserves, which can lead to a shorter life. This is one reason athletes often live shorter lives than the general public. Running hard is meant for survival or emergency situations, not for health and recreation.
  2. Energetic Imbalance: Intense exercises can disrupt the body’s natural energetic balance, leading to erratic energy levels, mood swings, and difficulty maintaining mental clarity—all signs of disrupted life energy flow. This includes some forms of yoga, strength training, and Pilates. For example, practitioners of Bikram yoga, which encourages excessive sweating for detoxification, often experience heart problems. Exercises that focus solely on balance, without considering life energy cultivation, are less effective for overall well-being.
  3. Lack of Vitality: While some exercises improve circulation, they may not provide sufficient life energy to sustain it. Exercises that disperse too much energy can leave us feeling weak, reducing the vitality needed for daily activities. Mental functions, such as clear thinking, require higher levels of energy. A lack of vitality can impair cognitive function, leading to mental health issues.
  4. Stress and Energetic Blockages: Certain exercises place significant stress on specific parts of the body—such as muscles, tendons, the heart, and the spine—leading to blockages in the flow of life energy through the body’s meridians. These blockages can obstruct the smooth flow of energy, ultimately impacting overall well-being. For instance, muscle and tendon injuries in the arms and shoulders from extreme stretching can lead to heart and lung problems. Exercises that can cause this type of stress include certain yoga practices, strength training, and Pilates.

As we discussed in a previous blog post, diet also plays a significant role in our life energy.

Cultivating Life Energy for Optimal Health

To truly benefit from exercise, we should focus on practices that consider life energy and its cultivation. These exercises should not waste your vital life force but rather conserve and gather it, using it only for healing when necessary. Life Energy Exercise, along with certain Qigong practices, are specifically designed to achieve this.

Healthy Exercise Practices

Life Energy Exercise stands apart from other forms of exercise because it integrates three key practices to support optimal health: Active Qigong, Instinctive Qigong, and Static Qigong.

  1. Static Qigong (no physical movement): This practice uses the body’s inherent ability to collect energy and promote self-healing. Meditation falls under this category. My book, The Total Life Energy Plan: How to Cultivate Life Energy for Long-Term Health and Vitality, highlights Standing Meditation (or Standing Post) as the most effective form of static Qigong. Many people practice meditation incorrectly, which can lead to health problems instead of healing. My book provides detailed instructions on how to meditate properly.
  2. Instinctive Qigong (effortless movements): This form involves spontaneous, natural movements of the body, guided not by the conscious mind but by the innate instincts built into humanity over generations. The Longevity Qigong falls under this category, using minimal resources while allowing the body to conserve and collect energy, promoting long-term vitality.
  3. Active Qigong (active movements): This practice uses active movements to acquire and circulate energy, stimulating bodily functions and supporting healing. The Steelman Qigong is one example of Active Qigong. It harnesses the body’s inner strength to improve circulation and nourishment, helping heal a variety of ailments.

Together, these three forms of Qigong help retain the body’s life energy, support its energetic needs, and promote long-term health and vitality. Practicing all three forms of Qigong daily is essential for achieving optimal health, especially when symptoms are present and for longevity.

Healing and Longevity

Practicing Standing Meditation, the Steelman Qigong, and the Longevity Qigong can help heal numerous health problems and contribute to a long, vibrant life. For example, I personally used Standing Meditation to overcome breast cancer. The Steelman Qigong is well-known for addressing complex health issues, while the Longevity Qigong has extended the lives of individuals who were deemed terminally ill by doctors.

We offer training classes for all three exercises:

  • The next Steelman Qigong virtual class starts January 8, with sessions on Wednesday evenings from 6:30–7:30 pm.
  • The next Longevity Qigong training starts March 7, for 6 weeks on Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm.

Sign up for the Steelman Qigong for healing and optimal health. You don’t want to be one of the many who must endure ill health, drugs, surgeries, doctor visits, supplements, gym memberships, medical expenses, or medical bankruptcy. You can avoid this path and take control of your health.

I look forward to seeing those who have already registered for the Steelman Qigong class in a few weeks.

Life-Saving Qigong

My Qigong healing can save lives. After practicing our Qigong exercises, you might even be able to do the same—save lives. If you know any children or young adults who are terminally ill, feel free to refer them to me.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post. I hope you gain valuable insights from it. If you have any questions or need further help with your health, I’ll be happy to assist you in a private consultation. I wish you all the best on your journey toward health and vitality.

The Hidden Pitfalls of Popular Diets and Wellness Programs: How They Can Diminish Our Life Energy

In our pursuit of health and wellness, we often gravitate towards popular diets and wellness programs that promise transformative results. From detox cleanses to restrictive eating plans, these trends captivate us with their claims of weight loss, improved vitality, and overall well-being. However, beneath the surface, some of these approaches may unintentionally diminish our life energy—the vital force that sustains our physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Let’s explore how this can happen and what alternatives we can consider.

The Appeal of Popular Diets and Wellness Programs

Popular diets and wellness programs attract us with promises of quick fixes and visible results. Whether it’s shedding pounds rapidly or achieving a heightened sense of wellness through dietary changes and lifestyle adjustments, many embark on these paths with hopeful expectations.

The Impact on Life Energy

1. **Energetic Depletion**: Certain diets emphasize consuming more fruits and vegetables, low sugar, carbs, and fats, high fiber, and even food products and supplements, which can deplete our life energy over time. These substances lack the vibrancy and life energy found in a balanced and energetic diet with natural foods, leaving us feeling drained and lacking vitality.

2. **Energetic Imbalance**: Extreme dietary restrictions or fasting protocols disrupt our body’s natural energetic balance. They may lead to erratic energy levels, mood swings, and difficulty maintaining mental clarity—all signs of disrupted life energy flow.

3. **Lack of Vitality**: While fruits and vegetables offer essential nutrients, they may not provide sufficient life energy to sustain optimal health on their own. Diets that overly restrict fats, proteins, or carbohydrates can leave us feeling weak and lacking the vitality needed for daily activities.

4. **Stress and Energetic Blockages**: The stress associated with rigid dietary rules, constant food monitoring, and changes in directions and trends can create energetic blockages in the body. These hindrances obstruct the smooth flow of life energy through our energy channels (meridians), impacting overall well-being.

We use diet here as examples for their impact on our life energy, health, and lifespan. Similarly, exercise has great impact on our life and we are going to use it as examples in our next blog post. Stay tuned.

Cultivating Life Energy for Optimal Health

1. **Whole Foods Rich in Life Energy**: Choose all-natural, unprocessed foods that are alive with vitality, such as freshly cut meats, newly picked vegetables, unprocessed nuts and seeds, and organically grown grains. These foods retain their natural life energy, supporting the body’s energetic needs and promoting vibrant health.

2. **Healthy Eating Practices**: Develop good eating habits and consume the right life energy foods for your body in the right way at the right time. Concentrate on eating to enhance your connection with food and ensure effective digestion. Take time to appreciate the colors, textures, and flavors of each meal, allowing your body to absorb the nourishing energy provided.

3. **Holistic Wellness Approaches**: Incorporate holistic practices like time-honored Qi Gong and meditation into your daily routine. These practices help balance and enhance the flow of life energy throughout the body, fostering resilience and vitality.

4. **Personalized Approach**: Recognize that each person’s energetic needs are unique. Listen to your body’s cues and seek guidance from holistic practitioners who can help you tailor your wellness journey to support optimal life energy levels. The Total Life Energy Plan can assist you in achieving your health and wellness goals by showing you how to be on your own journey.

Embracing Holistic Well-Being

While popular diets and wellness programs may offer initial benefits, it’s essential to consider their long-term impact on our life energy and overall vitality. By prioritizing life-giving foods, following healthy eating habits, embracing holistic wellness practices, and maintaining a personalized approach, we nurture our life energy and support long-term health and well-being.

Let’s choose wellness paths that honor the energetic vitality of our bodies and promote a sustainable, balanced way of living. By doing so, we empower ourselves to thrive with abundant life energy and enjoy a fulfilling journey towards life-long holistic health.

Becoming Your Own Healing Master: Harnessing Energy for Optimal Health

Embracing the Power of Energy

At the core of becoming your own healing master lies the understanding and utilization of energy.

In the realm of healing and well-being, a profound truth emerges: some of the most exceptional healers lack formal credentials. Consider Edgar Cayce and Julia Sun, individuals renowned for their healing abilities despite lacking traditional medical training. What sets these healers apart is their profound connection with energy and their ability to harness it effectively for healing.

Every thing, the whole universe, is made of energy. Energy surrounds us everywhere, permeating through every aspect of our lives –  from the food we eat, the air we breathe, and even in the interactions we have with others. By connecting deeply with this energy and learning to harness it consciously, we unlock the potential for profound healing—both for ourselves and for others.

Steps to Becoming Your Own Healing Master

1. Develop Awareness

Begin your journey by developing awareness of the energy around you:

  • Practice Meditation
  • Spend time in nature
  • Sense the energy in your palms
  • Guide the flow of energy through your meridians

These activities help attune you to subtle energies and cultivate a deeper connection with your surroundings.

2. Understand Your Body’s Energy

Learn about the energy systems within your own body. Traditional Chinese Medicine, for example, speaks of meridians and acupoints through which energy flows. Understanding these concepts can help you identify areas of imbalance and apply appropriate techniques for restoring harmony.

3. Practice Energy Techniques

Explore various energy healing modalities such as Reiki or Qi Gong. These practices involve channeling and manipulating energy to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Training in these techniques enhances your ability to sense and direct energy for healing purposes.

4. Integrate Energy into Daily Life

Make conscious choices to integrate energy awareness into your daily activities. Whether through the Life Energy Diet, Qi Gong exercises, sunbathing, or being present in interactions with others, infusing energy into your routine enhances vitality and promotes holistic health.

5. Special Healing Actions

Tailor healing actions to your needs, such as massaging specific meridians, practicing healing qigong and meditation, clearing energy fields, or simply relaxing in your favorite spot. Utilize your own energy and the rich energy surrounding us for healing to facilitate profound shifts in health and well-being.

Embrace Your Healing Potential

Becoming your own healing master is not about acquiring degrees or certifications—it’s about embracing your innate ability to connect with and utilize energy for healing. By honing your awareness, understanding your body’s energy systems, practicing energy techniques, integrating energy into daily life, and engaging in special healing actions, you empower yourself to optimize health and wellness naturally.

In essence, the journey to becoming your own healing master is a path of self-discovery and empowerment. It’s about recognizing the interconnectedness of energy within and around us, and harnessing this universal force to foster healing and wholeness through every aspect of life: Life Energy Diet, Life Energy (Qigong) Exercise, Life Energy Habits, and every life activity. As you embark on this journey, remember that the power to heal lies within you—tap into it, nurture it, and let it guide you towards a life of vitality and well-being.

Only the Body Can Heal Itself: Harnessing Nature’s Built-in Healing Power

Self-healing power is the human body’s inherent ability to automatically defend, repair, recover, and restore health when it is injured or has an internal disease. It can self-diagnose, repair, and maintain itself, which not only aids in disease recovery but also protects the body from harm. This remarkable ability to heal and maintain good health has been intricately designed and developed over millions of years of human history. From mending cuts and broken bones to fighting off infections and adapting to stress, the human body operates a sophisticated system of self-repair and resilience.

Self-healing power comes from the body’s innate “instinctive” and accurate self-healing system. In addition to the commonly known immune ability, it also includes:

  • Repair (re-knitting and regeneration)
  • Rejection and excretion
  • Promotion of metabolism
  • Elimination of toxins
  • Maintenance of internal stability
  • Regulation of mental state
  • Reduction of stress and anxiety
  • Maintenance of a positive attitude
  • Endocrine regulation

The magical and powerful self-healing power of the human body can neither be fully described in words nor understood by modern science. The wise ancient sages vividly called it “upright energy” and regarded it as the core force that maintains human life activities. From the moment of human life, our body’s inherent “portable doctor”—the self-healing protection system—was formed and settled in our body.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) emphasizes that “good energy exists within, and evil cannot affect.” That is, keeping upright energy strong can effectively resist external evils. At the same time, Chinese medicine also points out that “where evils gather, the energy is weak.” That is, when the human body’s upright energy is weak, external evils will easily take advantage of the deficiency.

The Innate Healing Mechanism

At the core of our ability to heal lies an innate mechanism driven by our upright energy. When we sustain an injury or fall ill, our body immediately sets in motion a series of responses aimed at repairing and restoring equilibrium. White blood cells rush to the site of infection, inflammation acts as a protective response, and damaged tissues begin to regenerate. This orchestrated symphony of biological reactions occurs without conscious effort, showcasing the body’s inherent capability to heal itself with the support of our upright energy.

Supporting and Facilitating Self-Healing

While our bodies possess this intrinsic healing capacity, external factors play a crucial role in supporting and facilitating this process. Key factors include:

  • Nutrition: Consuming a diet rich in life energy foods.
  • Physical Activity: Engaging in regular movement and exercise.
  • Rest: Ensuring adequate rest and sleep.
  • Healthy Lifestyle: Maintaining a balanced and stress-free lifestyle.

Providing the right conditions ensures that our internal healing mechanisms can operate at their peak efficiency. Unlike other medicines and health programs that mainly treat symptoms, TCM and the Total Life Energy Plan focus on building upright energy. This strengthens the body, enabling it to address underlying issues and care for all its symptoms.

Holistic Health Approach

Throughout human history, numerous natural and self-healing methods have developed that harness the human body’s innate ability to heal. Practices rooted in ancient wisdom, such as TCM and the principles of the Total Life Energy Plan, emphasize restoring balance and harmony within the body to support its natural healing processes. The Total Life Energy Plan, a time-honored, all-natural, holistic, and self-healing system, integrates various modalities such as life energy food, movement, meditation, and herbal remedies to optimize health and vitality.

Trusting the Body’s Wisdom

In a world often dominated by quick fixes and external interventions, there is immense value in trusting the body’s innate wisdom and resilience. While most medicines are developed for treating illnesses and injuries, they often work in tandem with the body’s natural healing processes or even supplant them. TCM is the only medicine that focuses on building upright energy to strengthen our self-healing power. The Total Life Energy Plan is based on TCM principles and the self-care and self-healing part of TCM.

Achieving Complete and Lasting Health

By integrating ancient wisdom with modern knowledge, we can achieve a more comprehensive approach to health. The Total Life Energy Plan and TCM offer holistic frameworks that address upright energy deficiency and underlying imbalances, promoting sustainable health and well-being. These systems recognize the interconnectedness of every part of the body, mental states, and spirit, emphasizing personalized care and lifestyle adjustments to support the body’s innate healing abilities.

Embracing the notion that “only the body can heal itself” encourages us to adopt a proactive role in maintaining our health and well-being. By honoring and supporting this innate capacity through mindful living and holistic health practices, we empower ourselves to lead healthier, more vibrant lives.

Exploring Self-Healing Methods: Insights from Human History

Throughout human history, a diverse array of self-healing methods has emerged, each offering unique perspectives on maintaining and restoring health. These methods, rooted in cultural wisdom and centuries-old traditions, empower individuals to take control of their well-being. Here’s why understanding and utilizing these practices can lead to healthier choices:

1. Traditional Healing Practices

Ancient civilizations developed intricate systems of healing that relied on natural remedies, rituals, and practices tailored to individual needs. Traditional Chinese Medicine, for example, emphasizes selfcare and holistic approaches to health, addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects through modalities such as massage, cupping, Guasha, and Qi Gong, as well as acupuncture and herbal medicine.

2. Herbal Medicine and Natural Remedies

Plants have long been recognized for their medicinal properties across various cultures. Herbal medicine harnesses the healing powers of botanicals to treat ailments and promote wellness. Each herb offers specific therapeutic benefits, from soothing inflammation to boosting immune system and organ functions, providing all-natural and comprehensive health solutions.

3. Mind-Body Techniques

Meditation fosters a sense of calm and resilience, allowing the body to concentrate on energy collection and healing. Qigong meditation, for instance, reduces stress and energy consumption, releases tiredness, improves focus, clarity, and self-control, cleanses toxins, and promotes physical and emotional balances. Daily meditation enhances overall physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

4. Energy Healing Modalities

Various cultures have explored energy-based healing modalities like Reiki, acupuncture, the Life Energy Diet, and Qi Gong. These practices aim to balance the body’s energy fields, supporting physical healing and emotional well-being through the restoration of energetic harmony.

5. Holistic Lifestyle Approaches

Holistic living integrates diet, exercise, sleep hygiene, and stress management into daily routines. By adopting balanced lifestyles that nourish the entire person—body and mind—individuals can prevent illness and optimize their overall health naturally.

Embracing Self-Healing for Informed Choices

Understanding and embracing these self-healing methods enables individuals to make informed and empowered choices about their health. By tapping into ancient wisdom and cultural practices from diverse traditions, we can unlock the potential for natural healing and well-being.

Only through knowledge and practice can we truly harness the benefits of these self-healing methods. Whether exploring herbal remedies, practicing meditation, or seeking energy healing, each step towards self-care contributes to a healthier, more vibrant life.

The Total Life Energy Plan provides foundational knowledge to select and practice these self-care methods for optimal energy and health.
