Why Have You Become a COVID-19 “Long Hauler”?

Covid-19 has affected all our lives, directly and indirectly. Almost, if not, all of us were infected by this virus. But different people have different reactions to the virus and infection:

  • Some people have obvious symptoms, while most people have no or minor symptoms.
  • For the people who have obvious symptoms, most of them have totally recovered and got back to normal health and normal life. It took them days or even months to recover. But others could not recover and have developed lingering symptoms or even many other illnesses such as chronic fatigue (ME/CFS), bodily pain (FM), digestive disorders, autoimmune disorder, or even bedridden. They become the so-called “long haulers”.

Why are all the differences and why do you keep suffering since infection? Many long haulers are puzzled by what happened to their bodies with these lingering symptoms. In this post, I am going to answer this question and solve this confounding mystery, so you know how to care for yourself or your loved ones to stop the suffering.

There are three major reasons why you become a long hauler:

  1. Your body is not strong enough to fight against the pathogen.

All illnesses happen because the body is not strong enough to fight with pathogens. Different pathogens affect different people with different weakness symptoms. For examples:

  • If your lungs are not strong enough to fight the infection, you may have cough, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, loss of smell, etc.
  • If your spleen and pancreas are not strong enough to fight the infection, you may have muscle or body aches, loss of taste, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, etc.
  • If your kidneys are not strong enough, you may have fatigue, chills, headache, etc.

Some viruses or pathogens such as covid-19 are more furious than the others and the body needs more resources to fight. When your body is not strong enough to fight with the virus and its treatments, you cannot totally recover. If you have paid attention to statistics, over 90% of people in the USA who died from coronavirus have obviously preexisting health problems.

You may ask, how come some strong and healthy people are so sick or even die from the virus? Up next is the answer.

  1. Your beliefs on health are not healthy and/or you do not know how to strengthen your body.

You need to realize that:

  • Having no diagnosable illnesses from your Western doctor does not mean you are healthy.
  • Not feeling sick does not mean you are healthy.
  • Health nuts doing healthy things everyday does not mean they are healthy and most times they are misled by contemporary health beliefs and are very unhealthy.
  • The very active people may have drained their body’s resources through everyday activities and do not have enough left for recovery from sickness!

Some people jog, hike, practice yoga or do other exercise every day. They may also try their best to eat healthy. Their annual physical exams are all normal. They think that they are very healthy. Some others use modern tips and hacks from their doctors, health coaches, social media and online to get rid of their illness symptoms. But Coronavirus changed their lives. It is hard for them to believe that they follow the guidelines so well and are so careful and their old illness were all disappeared (More accurately, masked). But they could not recover from the infection, or worse, died from it. They believe they are healthy, because they are doing exactly what is recommended by their doctors, nutritionists, and health coaches, notice no illnesses, and are even diagnosed extremely healthy from their doctors’ physical exams. Unfortunately, they are not what they think you are. Just because your conventional doctor cannot diagnose you with an illness and you do not feel sick, does not mean you are healthy and have no illness. When conventional doctors diagnose you with an illness with a major organ such as the liver, heart, lungs, and kidneys, the organ typically already has more than 40% damaged. Some people have no illness diagnosed by their doctors even though they feel miserable or even are bedridden most of the time!

  1. Modern medical treatments weaken your body. The medicine tries to kill the virus and at the same time kills the body cells and weakens the body. People are sicker after medical treatments, which may make them become “long haulers” – too sick to be extremely fatigued or to even have to stay in bed every day.

Traditional living and medicines strengthen the body and make us fare well during the pandemic. While the USA shuts down the alternative medicine websites in the country who said they can or have cured the virus infection, China is promoting their traditional medicines and traditional doctors who can cure it. The USA believes there is no cure and the ones claiming cure are lying and cheating. “Cure,” “heal”, and similar words are not allowed in advertisements in the USA, while you hear these words so often on Chinese TV stations and among Chinese people. There are doctors in China who have a 100% curing rate for their COVID patients. There are areas in China, such as an area inside Inner Mongolia, that have no modern hospitals but have a close to 100% curing rate. Hospitals are all over the US. Do any of them have over 50% curing rate?! The cure I mentioned here is the real cure that strengthens the body and is not the treatments that weaken the body with the results of side effects, re-affection, re-admitting to hospitals, or even “long-haul” illnesses. China has realized the damaging effects of Western medicine during the early days of fighting with COVID19 as well as the effectiveness of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in curing COVID infections. So now, its public and medical schools teach TCM, and they have eliminated about 60% of Western chemical medicines from their hospitals.

The different results from covid-19 infection are all determined by how healthy you are. The healthier you are, the less symptoms you typically have. The people without visible symptoms either are very strong or too sick to fight. Very healthy people typically do not catch cold while the people with obvious covid symptoms typically catch colds and flus every year as well.

Modern medicine and health beliefs do not work! Is it time for you to throw out the limited beliefs on health that is based on modern science?! Is it time for you to adopt “new” ways of thinking on health?

Nature creates the human, and the human relies on, depends on, and survives upon food, air, sun, earth, and all around it in Nature.  TCM is based on how Nature and the universe works and applies its principles to the human body for us to live well in Nature.

Your health depends on you. How you think determines how you do, and how you do determine your results. It is time to wake up and learn the best approach and tools for your health and life. Your body has accumulated millions of years of healing experience. Assist your body in healing itself and use the traditional ways that make us live well in Nature to strengthen our body and our health.

I found out that it is extremely hard for many Westerners to change their way of thinking about health, even though they know Western medicine cannot cure the majority of illnesses. (As a matter of fact, a famous doctor who practices Western medicine in Beijing said on a TV interview that this medicine can’t cure more than 10 illnesses.) Their mind is filled with modern beliefs since they were elementary school age. But it is doable with a conscious mind and constant reeducating yourself to think in terms how Nature works and how to live well in Nature.
