Caffeine is a chemical found in coffee, tea, cola, guarana, mate, and many products. Caffeine acts as a central nervous system stimulant. When it reaches your brain, the most noticeable effect is alertness. You feel more awake and less tired, so it is most commonly used as a stimulant to increase alertness or manage drowsiness. Caffeine is also used for temporarily releasing migraine and other headaches. It is a common ingredient in medications to treat headaches and migraines. Caffeine is a diuretic, or  a “water pill”, which increases urine flow. But it may no longer have this effect on people who use caffeine regularly.

The Damaging Effect of Caffeine on the Body

Not only does caffeine ease fatigue, drowsiness, and headache symptoms for the short term, but it may cause long term health problems.

  • Caffeine seems to improve some of the health problems, such as asthma, diabetes, gallbladder disease, hepatitis c.,low blood pressure after eating, memory, breathing problems in infants, pain,Parkinson’s disease, headache after epidural anesthesia, and weight loss.
  • Caffeine worsens your health conditions in the long term. Caffeine increases the expenditure of life energy and drains your body of energy. Because of this draining effect of caffeine, consuming caffeine too often or in excess may lead to chronic fatigue and other related problems, such as fibromyalgia. Caffeine can also worsen other health problems, such as anxiety disorders. bipolar disorder, bleeding disorders, heart conditions, diabetes, diarrhea, epilepsy, glaucoma, high blood pressure, loss of bladder control, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), weak bones (osteoporosis), Parkinson’s disease, and schizophrenia. Overuse, especially of some caffeinate products in very concentrated or pure forms can be fatal. As of 2018, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has made it illegal for these products to be sold to consumers in bulk.

The Tragedy:

Many Americans rely heavily on caffeine to make it through their day and drink coffee several cups a day every day. If they don’t, they are too fatigued to do anything. The more they rely on caffeine to stay alert, the more energy drained from their body, the worse their fatigue, and the more they rely on it…  Finally, they are not able to do anything, they may pass out, are bedridden, become followed by an early death. Rely on caffeine at your own risk!

The Solutions:

If you like to drink coffee or other caffeinated drinks, have no more than a cup a day. Be sure to eat high energy foods to recharge the body with extra energy to make up for the energy from caffeine. Check here for food energy properties.

If you have used caffeine for health issues, find the cause of your health problems and cure the problems instead of relying on caffeine or other drugs to temporarily relieve the symptoms.

  • If you constantly fatigued, your Spleen and/or Kidneys may be damaged.
  • If you have headaches or other health issues, your body or parts of your body, especially your brain, lacks the energy it needs to function well.
