🧘‍♂️ 1. What to Wear

Choose loose, comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement. No restrictive gear or tight outfits—let your body move and breathe naturally.

🏡 2. Choose the Right Space

Practice in a quiet place with fresh air and no distractions. Indoors or outdoors is fine, as long as the environment supports calmness and focus.

🌧️ 3. Weather Matters

Avoid practicing in cold, windy, rainy, foggy, or stormy weather, and avoid practice during loud thunderstorms indoors.
Also, avoid cold exposure in all forms:

  • Cold food and drinks
  • Cold showers
  • Cold air/drafts

Coldness drains your life energy and should be avoided unless absolutely necessary (e.g. high fever, heavy bleeding).

⏰ 4. Best Times to Practice

Practice when your body is not exhausted and at least one hour after eating.
Evenings are ideal, but any quiet time that fits your schedule is fine.
After Steelman Qigong is an especially effective time—Steelman circulates energy, Longevity gathers and conserves it.

🌀 5. How to Move

Move slowly, smoothly, and naturally.
Go at your own pace—younger bodies may go slow, older bodies may go even slower.
Aim for about 30 minutes per session.

🌬️ 6. Breathe Naturally

Let your breath flow without control.
Avoid manipulating or watching the breath—this overuses your energy.
Controlled breathing is for fighting and short-term recovery, not for a long, healthy life.

🔄 7. Follow the Sequence

Always follow the energetic order:
Build yang → then pack yin.
If short on time, practice fewer movements—but keep the sequence.

⚖️ 8. Adjust Based on Your Condition

  • Feeling overactive? Focus on the last 4 movements.
  • Feeling tired? Practice just the last few, or even just the final one.
  • Ideally, practice all 8 exercises once or more per day for about 30 minutes.

Let the mind rest.
No need to count repetitions or think.
Let the body move without effort, without mental control.
The less mind involved, the more the body returns to its natural, efficient state—calm, full of life energy, and able to heal.

3 Major Reasons Why Doctors Can’t Cure Your Illness

There are 3 major reasons why doctors can’t cure:

1. Medicines may not work for your illnesses so doctors can’t cure you.

Western medicine: As many of you already know that this modern medicine is created by a businessman in recent history and tries to use chemical drugs and harmful operations for treating illnesses. But the drugs are aliens to our body and too easy to poison our body, causing long term health problems. Operations and surgeries typically create scars that block good circulation, leading to more illnesses. This medicine and its doctors can’t cure most of the illnesses.

Traditional medicines: they are created by doctors and patients and have healed countless patients. But they are less effective nowadays than it did in history. For example, medicinal herbs were used to grow naturally in the wild where they absorbed much more natural energy and had much less pollution than the herbs grown on a farm nowadays. Medicinal herbs are not classified as food because they have strong effects on the body and/or easily poison our body without proper use. This is why you need to select a traditional doctor with decades of experience and/or secrete herbal formulas. Therefore, the typical inexperienced traditional doctors can’t cure you.

No matter what kind of medicine, they are famous for using these strong ingredients to stir up the body into taking actions for healing illnesses. If your body is strong enough to heal and recover from the treatments, you can get back to health. But if your body is not strong enough to resist and clean up the wastes and poisonous ingredients, you cannot be healed or can be in a worse condition than before. This is why more people die from medicines than illnesses. It was up to 90% of people die from traditional medicine in Chinese history and don’t mention the modern medicine. This is also why traditional Chinese doctors typically use acupuncture, cupping, massage, and many other treatments that work on the outside the body and use herbal formula as the last resort of healing after all other methods could not heal.

The Life Energy Exercise for Healing Illnesses

The origin of the life energy exercise for healing illnesses:

The life energy exercise (Steelman Exercise) has a long beneficial history of over one thousand years and has always been a healing exercise only heard by the public in China and other Asian countries but kept as a secret in Daoist temple. As early as more than 1,400 years ago in the Tang Dynasty in China, there was already a primary form of the exercise. Throughout the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties, there were many facsimile versions of this exercises in public, such as, “Ba Duan Jin (Eight Brocade Qigong)”, “Yi Jing Jin (Classic of Tendon Exercise)”, “Wu Qin Xi (Five Animal Qigong)”. But none of them can reach the same healing effect as this life energy exercise on curing illnesses.
