The origin of the life energy exercise for healing illnesses:
The life energy exercise (Steelman Exercise) has a long beneficial history of over one thousand years and has always been a healing exercise only heard by the public in China and other Asian countries but kept as a secret in Daoist temple. As early as more than 1,400 years ago in the Tang Dynasty in China, there was already a primary form of the exercise. Throughout the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties, there were many facsimile versions of this exercises in public, such as, “Ba Duan Jin (Eight Brocade Qigong)”, “Yi Jing Jin (Classic of Tendon Exercise)”, “Wu Qin Xi (Five Animal Qigong)”. But none of them can reach the same healing effect as this life energy exercise on curing illnesses.
The principles of this life energy exercise:
This exercise is based on the natural law of universal energy and the united and harmonized relationship between human and nature, as well as the applications of nature and its energy to human and the human’s energy system. Our energy system has a web of meridians to transform energy throughout the body to supply nourishments and its energy needs while our spines located in the centerline of this system as well as connecting to all major organs and body parts.
This set of exercises uses the strong internal strength to dredge the meridians of the whole body, so as to unblock and soothing the connection of the body, bones, and joints, adjust certain deformations and dislocations of the spine; and at the same time coordinate the functions of the internal organs, achieve the balance among all body parts for curing diseases and reaching optimal health.
Like a machine, after decades of use, some parts of our body cannot keep up with their work and start to slow down or malfunction. The none-competitive parts need good maintenance and special care. Without constant tender care, we gradually develop many age-related health problems, such as pain, fatigue, over or under weight, sleep disorders, hearing impairment, weakening vision, hypertension, and heart disease. Also, the strenuous exercises for young adults simply don’t fit aging population anymore.
The training on the life energy exercise:
As mentioned in my last post, Mr. Zhang was a sickly child with congenital heart and other health problems but had to beg for food since he was only 7 years old. The Daoist priest taught him this secret exercise. He healed all his illnesses and kept healthy until the last moment of his life at the age of 103 by practicing this exercise every day. I learned and practiced those exercises while I was suffering from my laundry list of health problems. After healing my own ailments, I taught many people this “secret” exercises before the pandemic. I’d like more people to benefit from this exercise and have developed online training on it.
