What does your bodily pain tell you?

Most people associate pain with physical suffering. Even English dictionaries define pain as physical suffering or discomfort caused by illness or injury. But there is much more than just the suffering. Our smart body tries to tell us many things.

  • First, why does the body produce pain? If it is normal, there is no pain. Our smart body informs us there is something wrong in it.
  • Second, our body tries to tell us where in the body it is suffering from its problem, so we know the problem area.
  • Third, our body tries to tell us that it is working on the problem. The body needs to perform its daily functions. Because of the problem in the area, the body can’t work as normal and is trying hard to overcome the problem.
  • Fourth, our body is calling for help. It gives out pain signals so we can pay attention to the problem and should help the body working on the problem.

Therefore, when the body has pain, it tells us the problem and problem area and calls for help.

What should we do when we sense the pain?

Nowadays, many people, especially the ones in the Western world, grab a pain killer whenever they have bodily pain. The medicine may relieve them from pain right away and they thought that the medicine works wonderfully.

But,

What exactly happened to your body after taking pain medication?

The medicine disables your body from working on its problem, masks the pain, and so you do not feel the pain! If your body can recover from the damaging effects of the medicine, you will feel pain again because it has the strength to start working on the problem again. But if your body cannot rebuild its strength for recovery, you may never feel the pain again. Further, the problem in one area is going to affect other areas, leading to bigger and more problems. For example, all pain affects our heart. Long-term suffering from pain, both mental and physical, can damage the heart. Unfortunately, many people have developed many more symptoms and problems from their pain without even knowing why.

We should change the view that pain is a bad thing.

Instead, appreciate your body giving you the signals about its problems and help the body to work on the problems right away to prevent the problems from getting worse, affect other parts of the body, and create many more problems.

The pain can go away permanently if you know how to get rid of your health problems! Learn what health problems the pain associated with, take care of the body and all related parts accordingly to get rid of the problem, in turn, never feel the pain again.
