The Steelman Qigong Exercise – Part of the Life Energy Exercise system, has a long beneficial history of more than a thousand years as a healing art, once known only within Daoist temples in China. Over 1,400 years ago in the Tang Dynasty, an early form of this exercise already existed. Through the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties, various public forms emerged, such as, “Ba Duan Jin (Eight Brocade Qigong)”, “Yi Jing Jin (Classic of Tendon Exercise)”, “Wu Qin Xi (Five Animal Qigong)”.
